  • Our 1st Race to November Tournament for the 1st term will be held at the Kuils River Tennis Club and hopefully as soon as we have secured the date with the Club.

  • Date: T.B.C.

  • Entries will be open to members of our Academy only and will work on a first-paid first-served basis as before, or until full capacity has been reached.

  • Our Race to November Tournaments will be open to boys and girls that have reached the following ratings according to their competency levels;
    • Red-dot tournaments
      • Rating 5c
    • Orange-dot tournaments
      • Rating 5b/1 and 5b/2
    • Green-dot tournaments
      • Rating 5a/1 and 5a/2
  • NB: Your proof of payment must accompany your entry form to book your place. Our Cancellation Policy for the Singles Tournaments are as follows:
    • Three weeks before the start of the tournament- Full Refund.
    • Two weeks before the start of the tournament - Full Refund.
    • One week before the start of the tournament - 50% Refund.
    • 48 hours before the start of the tournament - 25% Refund.
    • 24 hours before the start of the tournament - NO Refund.

Race to November Tournaments - R75/entry

 

  • The Cost for the Race to November Singles Tournaments for 2025 are R75.00 per Entry.
  • Registration takes place from as early as 7:00 at Kuils River tennis club, where those who would like to warm up before the Tournament starts can do so with the tennis balls that will be provided.
  • The Tournament information session will take place at 7:45 where I will explain the Rules of the Tournament and the format of the Tournament to everyone.
  • I would like to start at 8:00 sharp. (Please do not arrive later than 07:45)
  • Please bring some extra water and refreshments as there will be no tuck-shop open during the Tournament.
  • The tournament format follows a Round-Robin format with each round being played on a points-based system and a timer.
  • The Tournament should be finished by 12:00 after which the total scores of all the pupils will calculated.
    • The scores of each tournament your child participates in counts towards their final score that will be tallied and compared to the scores of the other participants in their specific category.
    • The eight pupils with the highest scores in their particular categories, will compete in the finals held in November, shortly after the exams is over.
    • The final three in each category will receive a Gold, Silver and Bronze medal as the winners of the Race to November.
  • The more tournaments each pupil participates in, the better their chances to compete in the finals, so please keep an eye out for the flyers that will be posted on our Facebook page and website as soon as the dates are confirmed with the Club.
